With the release of v2008 vol 1 we have introduced a Custom Group Intervals feature. Now you can easily group axis values using your own criteria. This an extension of the GroupInterval feature.

To use this feature, you should set the field's GroupInterval property to 'Custom', and handle the CustomGroupInterval event to provide a group value.

In this demo we use the Custom Group Intervals feature to group product names and make the report more readable. The Product axis displays three intervals ("A-E", "F-S" and "T-Z").
