The ASPxPivotGrid control allows you to create Unbound Fields which are not bound to any field in the control's underlying data source. These fields should be populated manually. For instance, they can display custom information and even use summary results calculated by the pivot grid.
In this demo, the Sales Person and Order Amount fields are unbound, and populated via the CustomUnboundFieldData event. These unbound fields are an equivalent of calculated columns provided by data sources. To specify how values for fields based on bound fields are calculated, use the Sales Person Format and Order Amount Rule combo boxes.
The Percent of OrderTotal and Bonus Amount unbound data fields are calculated using the CustomCellDisplayText event. Cell values of the Percent of OrderTotal field specify the percentage ratio of the current order's sum as compared to the order's total sum. Bonus Amount field values display 15% if the order amount is greater than $50,000 and 10% otherwise.
