This demo illustrates the capability to protect a document with a password.

To protect a document with a password, do the following.

  • Specify the owner's password (gives full, unrestricted access to a document), and if required, the user's password (an additional setting that is used to protect the opening of a document) using the respective input fields on the right panel.
  • Choose the encryption algorithm.
  • Specify the required user permissions.
  • Click Protect and Save... button to save the document with the specified protection settings.
