The DevExpress ASP.NET File Manager (ASPxFileManager) is an Explorer-like control providing your end-users with the capability to manage files and folders. This control allows end-users to easily upload and select files, and even change the folder structure (by renaming, moving, copying and deleting files or folders). File and folder management capabilities are fully customizable and can be switched off, if necessary.

The ASPxFileManager control consists of the following main elements: a toolbar, a folder container, a file container and an upload panel. Element settings and common control settings can be customized from the corresponding properties such as Settings, SettingsEditing, SettingsToolbar, SettingsFolders and SettingsUpload.

The main features of the ASPxFileManager control are listed below (along with the corresponding control settings):

This demo illustrates the primary features of ASPxFileManager. Use the check box options in the top panel to change the values of the corresponding ASPxFileManager properties, and see the results within the control.
