This demo illustrates how to bind the Scheduler to the datasource that exposes the IBindingList interface.

The ASPxScheduler is bound to the ObjectDataSource control (which is set as an appointment data source) in the code-behind file. Data field mappings are specified in code of the Page Load event

The CustomEventDataSource is the business object with which the ObjectDataSource control is performing data operations. It generates a unique identifier for a newly inserted object, so the AutoRetrieveId property is set to true.

Appointment editing is not allowed if this demo is run online. An attempt to modify an appointment results in the error message.
