With XtraCharts, it is possible to automatically calculate and display summaries for a chart's datasource fields.
In this demo, you can use a drop-down list above the chart to select a summary function to demonstrate.
Note that in addition to built-in summary functions, you can create your own custom ones with XtraCharts, like the STDDEV function in this demo.
