The DevExpress ASP.NET Card View (ASPxCardView) allows end-users to focus cards. By default, card focusing is disabled; set the SettingsBehavior.AllowFocusedCard property to true to enable this feature.

The focused card's appearance can be specified using the style settings provided by the Styles.FocusedCard property.

Server Side

The focused card is identified by the FocusedCardIndex property. Use this property to move card focus in code. Changing this property raises the FocusedCardChanged event.

Client Side

End-users move focus by clicking the desired cards. To respond to a change in card focus, handle the FocusedCardChanged event. To identify a card currently being focused, use the GetFocusedCardIndex client method.

This demo shows how to dynamically display a focused employee's details outside the ASPxCardView.
