This demo shows how easily hyperlinks to documents can be inserted into the content of the editor with a built-in Select Document dialog.

The Select Document dialog is a useful addition to the Insert Link and Change Link dialogs, allowing end-users, to manage content hyperlinks using a point-and-click UI, rather than typing URLs manually.

Because the ASPxFileManager control is integrated into the Select Document dialog, all file/folder management, access control, and upload capabilities are available to you out-of-the-box. To enable these capabilities, turn on the corresponding options using the editor's SettingsDocumentSelector option set. In this demo, you can adjust some of these options using the settings displayed to the right of the editor.

  • Show 'Open in new window' button (ShowOpenInNewWindowButton) specifies the visibility of "Open in new window" check box.
  • Show the 'E-mail address' section (ShowEmailAddressSection) specifies the visibility of a section that allows you to enter the e-mail address.
