DevExpress ASP.NET Headline (ASPxHeadline) is used to organize/display news-like announcements on a web page. It is a constituent part of the ASP.NET News Control (ASPxNewsControl), but can be used independently when required.

ASPxHeadline exposes a broad set of properties that allow you to customize the appearance of its individual elements, giving you the power to refine the look and feel of the control as needed.

In this demo, the page contains a standard Repeater control, which obtains its items from an XML file through an XmlDataSource component. The XML file (WebSiteNewsRSS.xml) conforms to RSS 2.0 specifications.

Each Repeater control item is represented by a specific template (ItemTemplate type) that contains an instance of the ASPxHeadline control. The ASPxHeadline control's properties are bound to data with specific databinding expressions.
