This demo shows how to add a new menu item to the Field Value popup menu. The "Filter By This Value" menu item allows you to filter the corresponding field by the value currently being clicked.

The ASPxPivotGrid provides two popup menus. The first menu is shown when an end-user right clicks a field value. The second menu is shown when an end-user right clicks a field header or right clicks within the empty area.

Custom menu items can be created and added to the pivot grid's popup menus within the PopupMenuCreated event handler. To add a new menu item, use the e.Menu.Items.Add method. The event parameter provides the MenuType property, which identifies the menu currently being displayed. The popup menu, itself, is returned by the e.Menu property.

To define an action, which is executed after an end-user has clicked a custom menu item, handle the client-side PopupMenuItemClick event. To learn more, please see the ASPxPivotGrid's help documentation.
