The DevExpress ASP.NET Grid View (ASPxGridView) allows you to build adaptive and responsive page layouts. The control can automatically resize or hide grid data when the browser's width changes. The SettingsAdaptivity property allows you to specify how the layout changes in different cases.
This demo illustrates the ASPxGridView with a responsive layout (the AdaptivityMode property value is set to 'HideDataCells'). The column's MinWindth/MaxWidth properties allow you to specify a column's minimum and maximum widths. The column's width can be changed within the limits of these values depending on the grid's width. Use the AllowHideDataCellsByColumnMinWidth property to specify whether the grid should hide a column if its width is less than the MinWidth value.
In responsive mode, the grid automatically hides columns one by one when the browser window is resized. Each hidden row displays an ellipsis button you can click to expand a detail row.
Note: The grid's width should be 100% in responsive layout mode.
