This sample demonstrates the use of AJAX-based callbacks implemented by the ASPxPageControl.
In order to enable the use of callbacks, the control's EnableCallBacks property should be set to true. In this instance, the contents of non-active pages are not represented on the client. When a page is activated for the first time, its content is retrieved from the server and then cached on the client. The next time the page is activated, its content is taken from the client and no callback to the server is performed.
In this demo, the ActivateTabPageAction property is set to MouseOver for quick page selection (without having to click pages). The SaveStateToCookies property is set to true in order to preserve the state of the page control (in particular, the control's active page) when an end-user visits the site again.
Note that in this example we purposely pause callback processing on the server side for a second in order to make the Loading Panel visible during this time.
